Quarter Acre Roots is about our experiences growing our own food on a quarter acre block of land in Carterton, New Zealand. We’ve been doing this for a few years, but this year, 2008, we have decided to turn things up a notch and grow as much of our own food as we can. We also made a decision to buy organic food to fill the gaps, after doing a lot of reading it has become clear that the food supply chain has become unworkable for us in terms of health, ethics and the environment.
You mention good suppliers for peastraw in the Wairarapa - can you oblige with a number? I love your webste - it’s great.
Thank you.

I too would be very interested to know where I can get peastraw around the Wairarapa as I have a heap of garden which needs mulching.
Like others I also look at your website most days and I enjoy it.
